George And Amal Clooney’s Twins On-The-Way Are Already Changing Their Lives
George and Amal Clooney recently announced that they’re expecting twins, and the two babies on-the-way have already begun changing the couple’s lifestyle.
The Clooneys spend a good deal of time traveling around the world together and separately, often times to some dangerous countries, but the couple have decided to be more careful with their travel plans now that they’re expecting.
“We decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger,” George told Paris Match. “I won’t go to South Sudan anymore or the Congo, Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she’ll avoid places where she knows she isn’t welcome.”
Amal is a human rights attorney and traveling to work with certain clients often takes her to dangerous territories. She even recently defended a human trafficking survivor against ISIS, knowing it would put her and her client in a risky situation.
Although the Clooneys plan to limit their travel to dangerous areas, they still plan to jet back and forth between their homes in America, England and Italy.
“As soon as the children go to school, it’ll be necessary to choose where to settle,” George said. “In the meantime, we will continue to move according to our respective schedules.”
“People think we are never together,” he added of himself and his wife, “but we have not been separated for more than a week.”
