Steinem: Topless Emma Watson Photo Doesn’t Make Her A Bad Feminist

Gloria Steinem said Emma Watson’s recent topless photo shoot does not make her a “bad feminist.”

“Feminist can wear anything they fucking want, please,” Steinem told TMZ. “Perhaps they have an incomplete idea of who women are. … They should be able to walk down the street nude and be safe.” (RELATED: Emma Watson Has Taken Up Boxing Lessons, And We Love Her For It)

Watson was attacked this week on social media as being a “hypocrite” for pushing feminist ideals and then posing without a shirt.


The “Beauty and the Beast” star — who is a United Nations ambassador — helped kick-off the HeForShe campaign for the organization that advocates for gender equality.
