74-Year-Old Man Arrested For Destroying Kim Kardashian Selfie Books At Barnes & Noble
A 74-year-old man was arrested on Monday after destroying more than a handful of Kim Kardashian’s “Selfish” books in a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Carl Puia, a Glastonbury native, was caught by security camera footage from October 2016 pouring a red liquid over several of Kardashian’s books full of selfies, local news station WVIT reports.
Six of the reality television star’s books were “destroyed in the massacre and could not be revived,” according to police.
Police discovered a lengthy typewritten note Puia left for the Barnes & Noble staff in which he detailed his distaste for Kardashian and “people like her.”
