‘Elf’ Actor Pleads Not Guilty Following Alleged Altercation At Airport
Faizon Love has pleaded not guilty to assault charges after he allegedly got into an altercation at an Ohio airport.
On Wednesday, the 48-year-old actor and comedian — probably best known for his role in the hit Christmas film “Elf” — entered the plea of not guilty to misdemeanor charges in Franklin County Municipal Courtroom after he allegedly threw a 24-year-old valet at John Glenn Columbus International Airport to the ground, according to Page Six. Authorities say Love and the valet got into it in the baggage claim area of the airport where the two men argued and he grabbed the valet by the neck, threw him to the ground, into a desk and then pushed him down when he attempted to get up. Love was arrested on Tuesday and spent the night in jail. Video of the altercation was released on Wednesday.
The actor was released on $2,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear at a comedy club next week in Columbus, Ohio.
