Earlier Wednesday, Trump tweeted that there would be an “outcry” from people had the video for Snoop’s song “Lavender” shown him shooting Barack Obama instead of a clown dressed as Trump.

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time,” Trump tweeted.

On Monday night, the rapper turned actor Ice-T told TMZ that the video was just “artistic,” but if it was Obama that was shot instead of Trump, that “would be terrible.”

“I think it would be terrible,” the rapper responded. “Obama wasn’t the same kind of guy as Trump. It was very hard to make an Obama joke it wasn’t because of his race, it was because Obama was such a smooth character.”
