Former ‘James Bond’ Weighs In On The McGregor Vs. Mayweather Fight
Pierce Brosnan is sticking with his fellow Irishman when it comes to the potential slugfest between UFC fighter Conor McGregor and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
The former “James Bond” star pointed out the obvious and said they need to get the money right first, but it sounds like he’s hoping they do, according to TMZ.
Earlier this week, it was reported that T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas has been reserved as a potential location for the bout between the two fighters. This is the biggest indication yet that the fight might actually occur since the two began taking shots at one another months ago.
Brosnan was born in Drogheda, Ireland not too far from McGregor’s hometown of Crumlin. When asked if he was worried about McGregor facing Floyd in the boxing ring, Brosnan had absolutely zero hesitation.
“Oh, Mayweather’s gonna go down,” he said. “He’s gonna go down.”
