Kim Kardashian Says She ‘Can’t Carry Any More Kids’, Will Look At Surrogate Option
Kim Kardashian revealed heartbreaking news Sunday on her reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
The 36-year-old reality television star shared that she underwent surgery on her uterus to determine if the could get pregnant again, according to Fox News. Later, she said doctors have found that she “can’t carry any more kids.” Last week, she revealed that she and Kanye were ready to try to have a third baby. “So there’s a complication with my bladder [and] I had to have a catheter,” Kardashian said. “It’s so painful and frustrating. Kanye [West] and I have always talked about having more kids, but after what I went through in Paris, the urgency is even greater.” (RELATED: Kim Kardashian Held At Gunpoint And Robbed In Paris)
At one point in the show, the reality star has a heart-to-heart with her friend Jonathan Cheban about what the surgery found.
“I can’t carry any more kids… it’s the worst,” Kardashian explained. “It’s not going to be happy for me… I had a full break down. I give up.”
Later, she talked to her sister Khloe Kardashian about looking into the surrogate option for her third child.
“After everything I went through, the surgery wasn’t successful and didn’t do anything,” Kardashian said. “Kanye was really nervous about the surgery… but I know he would want to have more kids. I feel like surrogacy is the only option for me.”
“Kanye and I are going to look into other options and see what we are comfortable with,” she added. “I’m definitely leaning towards I want to try [surrogacy]… After talking to Kanye… I always knew surrogacy was an option, now it’s my reality. Whatever is meant to be will be.”
The reality star has a three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son.
