Cher told Democrats to stop blocking the vote of President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch.

On Tuesday, the 70-year-old singer, who rarely says anything positive of the president, told senators who have threatened to filibuster Gorsuch’s nomination that their tantrum is making them look desperate. (RELATED: Celebrities Declare ‘Victory’ Following Court Ruling On Trump’s Immigration Ban)

“DEMS,The“Merrick Garland”SHIP HAS SAILED!! Let It Go…OR….Do You Want Some (cheese) To Go With Your WHINe!? This Tantrum Wreaks Of Desperation,” Cher tweeted. (RELATED: Celebrities Freak Out Over Trump’s Immigration Restriction)

Just days before, the singer compared Richard Nixon to Trump, saying the president was more “corrupt.”

“NIXON BROKE IN2 DEMS.EVERY THING NIXON DID, (Trump) & RUSSIA DID!! TRUMPS MORE CORRUPT THAN NIXON.IF INVESTIGATION ISNT FIXED (TRump) WILL GO DOWN!! IF NOT (burn),” Cher tweeted.

At this point, Gorsuch getting an up or down vote will rely on Republicans bypassing the filibuster with the nuclear option.

The final vote for Gorsuch is expected by Friday.
