“Saturday Night Live” brutally mocked Pepsi’s social justice ad featuring Kendall Jenner.

During the clip, the late night comedy show reimagined what could have been happening behind-the-scenes on the day of the shoot for the video. One of the ‘SNL’ members, Beck Bennett, played the director and writer of the ad that created an uproar on social media. (RELATED: Pepsi Pulls ‘Protest’ Ad Everybody Is Freaking Out About)

The real ad came out on Tuesday and was met with outrage. Pepsi ended up pulling it less than 24 hours later and apologized.

“Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize,” Pepsi said in a statement. “We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout.”
