Performers like Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho and rock bands like the Foo Fighters, and The National have donated their time and talent to raise money for abortions with vinyls.

On Monday, Planned Parenthood announced their latest fundraising effort called “7-inches for Planned Parenthood” on its Facebook account. It will reportedly be a box-set that includes vinyls of various performers singing and doing their comedy to raise money for the group in response to President Donald Trump and lawmakers saying they will cut the group’s funding. (RELATED: Cosmo Polls Young Women About Ivanka And The Results Are Ugly)

“Lawmakers with extreme views are working hard to shut down Planned Parenthood,” a statement on Facebook read. “If they succeed, millions of Americans will lose access to basic health services, including STD testing and treatment, birth control, and life-saving cancer screenings. 7-inches for Planned Parenthood is a response to this threat.”

“This curated series of 7-inch vinyl records is being made by a group of people who believe that access to health care is a public good that should be fiercely protected,” the statement added. “Do we know there’s a joke in the name? We do. We hope the title evokes the rich history of 7-inch vinyl records as a medium for protest music and resistance.”

On Tuesday, the list of performers helping to raise money was shared on the movement’s Instagram account.
