Kendall Jenner Won’t Let Pepsi Commercial Controversy Keep Her From Coachella
Kendall Jenner has been in hiding since becoming the target of criticism after her Pepsi commercial came under fire for being tone-deaf and insensitive to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Even though she’s chosen to lay low and hide from the spotlight, Jenner is not going to let the controversy keep her from going to Coachella. The 21-year-old supermodel is scheduled to host a party for the Bumble dating app in Rancho Mirage this weekend with her sister Kylie and she’s still planning to attend, TMZ confirmed.
Kendall and Kylie will still run the show at the “Winter Bumbleland” party that will take place at a mansion the company is tuning into a winter oasis in the middle of the California desert. Kendall is also scheduled to guest DJ at an event for 1 OAK during the festival. (RELATED: Now We’re Waiting On Another Jenner To Come Out)
Apparently the organizers were a little nervous that Jenner was going to back out on the event last-minute due to her recent commercial controversy, but she has assured them that she’ll be there no matter what.
