Aaron Hernandez was acquitted of double homicide Friday afternoon.

The former New England Patriots star was accused of murdering Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado following a Boston nightclub confrontation in 2012, but the jury didn’t believe there was enough evidence to convict.

However, Hernandez won’t be walking free anytime soon. He is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the murder of Odin Lloyd.

The University of Florida product played three seasons for the Patriots before he was arrested and cut for the murder of Lloyd.
