The UFC president said that the fight is “probably going to happen” and that he is going to begin negotiating with Mayweather’s representatives to see what they can do.

“I’m working on that. I’m focused on that,” White told TMZ Sports. “That’s what they both want so I’ve got to start negotiating with Team Mayweather — we’ll see how that goes.”

Mayweather and McGregor have been throwing shots at each other for months, and boxing and UFC fans have been hoping they’ll stop talking and make it happen in either the ring or the octagon. White seems to believe he and Mayweather’s team can make it work, so we’ll just have to keep waiting to see what happens.
