Donald Trump Doesn’t Mention Tom Brady At The White House
Donald Trump raised some questions when he didn’t mention Tom Brady as he welcome the New England Patriots to the White House for their congratulatory ceremony Wednesday.
As the president praised the Super Bowl champions — saying, “No team has been this good for this long” — he gave shout outs to Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman, Matt Slater, Malcolm Mitchell and Trey Flowers, but not the team’s quarterback.
In a statement Wednesday, Brady revealed he couldn’t make it to the White House because of “personal family matters.”
“I am so happy and excited that our team is being honored at the White House today. Our team has accomplished something very special that we are all proud of and will be for years to come.”
