Kim Kardashian Is About To Make A Big Public Appearance Without Kanye By Her Side
For the first time in four years, Kim Kardashian will not be accompanied by Kanye West at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.
The fundraising event, which takes place every May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is the biggest fashion event of the year. Kim and Kanye have walked the red carpet of the boujee event together since the 2013 gala, according to Page Six, but since suffering a mental breakdown last fall the rapper has been hiding from the spotlight.
The event, considered on-par with the fashion parties at the Oscars, will include all of the top fashion stars and other celebrities. This year Kardashian will attend the exclusive fashion event with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
The 2017 fundraiser will be hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams.
Only 600 guests typically attend the exclusive annual event and tickets go for up to a whopping $30,000 for anybody outside of the celebrity and VIP guest list. Tables go for $275,000 a pop.
