This Poor Guy Proposed In Front Of An Entire Baseball Stadium And Got Shot Down
It takes some serious guts to propose to the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with. To do that in front of an entire baseball park takes it to an entirely different level.
During the Boston Red Sox game against the Chicago Cubs at Fenway Park on Sunday, a Boston fan mustered up the courage to propose on the big screen, and it appears that it didn’t go so well.
This guy just proposed at Fenway on camera. She said no. Now they are arguing. That poor camera man pic.twitter.com/N9m8nOIXKH

In the middle of an inning, the Fenway videoboard showed the unidentified man proposing, but the cameras quickly cut away when it became clear that the woman didn’t say yes. For lack of audio, we can’t confirm what exactly went down between the couple, but it certainly didn’t turn out how the man had hoped it would.
Despite that, it didn’t take long for people to offer their reactions on Twitter.
The scoreboard proposal at Fenway may have just gone awry. There was no hug, the camera cut away and the crowd groaned.

Consensus: never, ever propose in such a public setting unless you’re 1,000% positive the answer will be yes.
