Chris Brown Gets Served With A Restraining Order On His Birthday
Karrueche Tran has been trying to serve Chris Brown with a restraining order for months and it seems that the legal documents finally reached the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer.
The 28-year-old model obtained a temporary restraining order against Brown back in February that has since been extended as the singer continued to dodge the papers. Tran is hoping to obtain a permanent restraining order against her ex-boyfriend who allegedly punched her, threw her down the stairs and even threatened to murder her.
A process server finally delivered the papers to Brown as he was leaving Grooves nightclub in Houston, Texas on his birthday, TMZ reports. The hearing is expected to take place later this month.
Brown has had a history of physically abusing women, and Tran’s allegations apparently occurred while the singer was on probation for his assault of his previous girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
The singer apparently caused some more trouble at a Tampa nightclub earlier this month in an incident in which he stands accused of punching a club photographer in the face. He was charged with assault in connection with the incident.
