Ellen DeGeneres: Trump Is ‘Against Everything That I Stand For’
If Ellen DeGeneres was given the opportunity to have Donald Trump on her talk show, she would decline.
DeGeneres joined Matt Lauer on “Today” Friday morning where she said Trump isn’t welcome on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” because “he’s against everything that I stand for.”

She also added that she doesn’t think she could change his mind about any of their differences of opinions either.
The 59-year-old comedienne has had Trump on her show before for a “Celebrity Apprentice” bit, but admitted she hasn’t spoken to him “since he’s run for president or become president.”
Despite that, DeGeneres who recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her coming out as a lesbian, suggested that she and the president have fundamentally different views about topics such as women and immigration, according to Page Six.
“We need to look at someone else who looks different than us and believes in something that we don’t believe in and still accept them and still let them have their rights,” she said on “Today.”
