Watch Harrison Ford In The Official ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Trailer [VIDEO]

The official trailer dropped Monday for “Blade Runner 2049” and it’s left fans counting the days until its release in October later this year.

“Every civilization was built off the back of a disposable work force, but I can only make so many,” Jared Leto’s character is heard saying in the clip shared by Warner Bros for the sequel to the sci-fi thriller from 1982 “Blade Runner.” (RELATED: Watch The First Trailer For ‘Blade Runner 2049’ [VIDEO])

“Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos,” a description released with the trailer read. “K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.”  (RELATED: First ‘Cars 3’ Trailer Apparently Shows Lightning McQueen Dying A Grisly, Gruesome Death [VIDEO])

Other big name stars who appear in the thriller sequel directed by Denis Villenuve and executive produced by Ridley Scott include, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, and Ana de Armas.

“Blade Runner 2049” hits movie theaters Oct. 6, 2017.
