The “Famous” rapper has been laying low since his mental breakdown back in November, but has reportedly spent the past week at a mountaintop retreat somewhere in Wyoming working on music, according to TMZ.

The 39-year-old has made a clear attempt to reset and disconnect since being hospitalized and forced to cancel the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour last fall. He has been noticeably absent from public appearances with his wife Kim Kardashian and recently deleted both his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Kanye even skipped out on the prestigious Met Gala last week, but that didn’t stop his wife from attending the annual fashion event. “He’s been taking some time off and really loving that,” Kardashian said of her husband at the star-studded fundraiser in New York City.

West might have taken the past few months off, but it sounds as if he’s finally getting back into the process of creating music and his fans have got to be happy to hear it.
