Victoria’s Secret Model To Host TV Beauty Competition
Adriana Lima has agreed to host a beauty competition television series on Lifetime, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
It’s called “American Beauty Star.”
Twelve celebrity stylists and salon professionals will compete by creating editorial fashion looks and glamorous runway moments. One winner will be selected. (RELATED: Adriana Lima Just Didn’t Feel Like Wearing A Whole Dress Last Night, OK?)
During her career, the 35-year-old Victoria’s Secret model has walked hundreds of runways, been the face of numerous ad campaigns and has graced the cover of dozens of magazines.
“We are thrilled to be in partnership with A+E on the series, as it’s the perfect home for our highly engaging and entertaining beauty competition series,” executive producer Norton Herrick of Herrick Entertainment said. “The collection of talent and creativity makes the series a must-watch for beauty enthusiasts of all ages and interests.”
“Herrick Entertainment has created a unique format in the beauty space marrying proven reality-competition story beats with fresh new twists and an outstanding cast of competitors who are at the top of their game,” president of A+ E Studios Paul Buccieri said.
Production is scheduled to start next month, but there is no word yet on when it is expected to hit the air.
