Former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo was brutally attacked in a home invasion incident when she and a man were returning to his home Saturday night.

Manzo and David Cantin arrived at Cantin’s home in Holmdel, New Jersey late Saturday night when they were met by two masked intruders who were already in the house, CBS New York reports.

One of the home invaders attacked Cantin with a baseball bat and the other punched Manzo repeatedly.

The two men then bound both Manzo and Cantin and followed through with their robbery, stealing some cash and jewelry before fleeing the property, according to CBS2’s report. The two victims managed to free themselves after the intruders left and called the police.

Cantin, 37, is a “wealthy and well known car dealership owner” in the area, CBS2 reports. Manzo, 46, is a former star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” who also starred in her own party-planning television series called “Dina’s Party.”

Both of the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment after each of them suffered injuries to the face during the brutal attack. They have since been released from care.
