“We’re looking for partnerships that make the brand resonate and to make sure people know who we are,” Aston Martin’s North American president Laura Schwab told ESPN. “Tom and Aston Martin are similarly aligned in their path to excellence.” (VIDEO: Gisele Deserves A Gold Medal For This)

Brady’s deal with the high-end car brand comes just a few months after he won his fifth Super Bowl, solidifying his claim as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. Clearly Aston Martin has recognized that prestige and is seeking to benefit from it in an attempt to boost their sales in the states.

“As a long-time fan and driver, I am honored to join the Aston Martin team at this special moment in the company’s history,” Brady said in a statement.

The New England Patriots star will appear in a content series for the British brand in which he will share what drives him on the field as he is featured with the new DB11, ESPN reports. Brady will also create a specialized version of Aston Martin’s Vanquish S, which they will only make 12 of as a nod to the quarterback’s jersey number.
