Melania Visits Children’s Hospitals During The President’s First Big Foreign Trip

Melania Trump is making the most out of Donald Trump’s first big foreign trip in office.

The first lady, who is traveling with her husband for the first eight days of his trip, visited the Queen Fabiola University Hospital in Belgium as he met with leaders at the NATO summit Thursday.

Melania and Queen Mathilde of Belgium also heard a presentation on a center for missing and sexually exploited children, called Child Focus, where Melania said she “learned quite a lot.”

“It is so important that we talk to children about their online activities, to let them know that computers are useful tools but can be used by people who want to harm them,” she added.

Melania visited the Bambino Gesu’s children’s hospital in Rome the day before after she and Trump met Pope Francis at the Vatican. It was recently revealed that Melania is a practicing Catholic.
