Ben Stiller And His Wife Are Splitting Up After 17 Years Of Marriage
Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the actor and his wife are separating. They have two children together, 15-year-old Ella and 11-year-old Quinlin.
“With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” the two said in a joint statement. “Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”
The two met while filming a television pilot that never aired, and have starred in multiple films together, including “Dodgeball,” “Tropic Thunder,” “Zoolander” and “Zoolander 2.”
In October 2016, Stiller revealed to Howard Stern that he had recently been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer.
“It came out of the blue for me,” Stiller said during the interview. “I had no idea.”
“At first, I didn’t know what was gonna happen. I was scared. It just stopped everything in your life because you can’t plan for a movie because you don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
