LeBron James’ Home Vandalized With Racist Graffiti
LeBron James’ home in Los Angeles became the target of a suspected hate crime, according to a report from TMZ.
Multiple LAPD units responded to a call in James’ neighborhood Wednesday morning and arrived at the Cleveland Cavaliers star’s home to find someone spray painted the n-word on his front gate.
James wasn’t staying at the L.A. property when the vandalism occurred because he’s currently preparing to face the Golden State Warriors in the Bay Area for Game 1 of the NBA Finals Thursday night.
Police are now looking into the hate crime and investigators are searching through security footage from the neighbors surveillance cameras in hopes of getting a visual of the suspect, TMZ reports.
James purchased the house back in 2015, sparking rumors that he was considering a trade to the Lakers at the time, but the NBA player doesn’t stay there very often.
The racist graffiti has since been covered up as police continue their investigation.
