The 41-year-old golfer was arrested after police found him asleep behind the wheel of his car on Memorial Day in Jupiter, Florida. Video of Tiger’s arrest was released on Thursday and although he hadn’t been drinking he was on prescription medication and certainly shouldn’t have been driving.

The experience has likely been embarrassing for Woods who hasn’t encountered a public problem like this since his sex scandal in 2009. Although Woods and Vonn are no longer dating, the professional skier reached out to comfort him, according to sports gossip site Terez Owens.

“Lindsey texted Tiger just to say she’s there for him. They are still friends, and Lindsey felt pretty bad about the fallout from the DUI,” a source told Owens. (VIDEO: Tiger Woods DUI Arrest Video Released And It’s Worse Than We Thought)

“She wishes the best for Tiger,” the source continued. “They’re break up was very amicable, so this wasn’t a difficult decision for her to make.”

Unfortunately for Tiger, Vonn has moved on and is now dating another man. Otherwise there might be a potential for a rebound for the once electric golfer who’s now looking to bounce back once again.
