Lindsey Vonn Weighs In On Trump Pulling Out Of Paris Accord

Lindsey Vonn is clearly upset with Donald Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate agreement.

The professional skier made her opinion of the move known with an Instagram post in which she’s seen atop a mountain in Austria. (RELATED: Trump Announces U.S. Withdrawal From The Paris Climate Accord)

“Thankful that I am able to do what I love but climate change is REAL and I watch the glaciers I love melt more every year,” Vonn wrote in the caption. “We can’t change the opinion of others but we can all do our part to try and save our planet!”

During his presidential campaign Trump made a promise that if he was elected he would withdraw the U.S. from the landmark climate accord which 194 countries of the world are a part of. On Thursday the president made good on his promise when he announced that the United States would no longer be bound to the pact.
