San Diego Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin stated Friday Johnny Manziel appears ready to play again in the NFL.

“I saw Johnny about a month ago through this PT guy we go to in San Diego and he’s looking good. He says he’s ready to come back and hopefully he’ll get a shot at a team and he’ll go in, continue to humble himself and play smart and play good,” the former teammate of Manziel with the Cleveland Browns told the NFL Network. (SLIDESHOWJohnny Manziel‘s Rumored Girlfriend Barely Wears Anything On Instagram)

However, off-the-field issues plagued his quick two years with the Browns before he flamed out of the NFL. He has spent the last several months preparing for an NFL comeback and it appears that he is finally ready to sling footballs again on Sundays.
