Donald Trump and future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning teamed up on the golf course at Trump National Golf Club on Sunday, according to White House pool reports.

Manning came to the capital to be honored with the Lincoln Medal at Ford’s Theater in Washington on Sunday night. The Medal is presented to those who exemplify “the lasting legacy and mettle of character embodied by the most beloved president in our nation’s history, President Abraham Lincoln.”

Ahead of the ceremony, Manning spent most of the day playing some golf with the president. The two were also joined by Sen. Bob Corker, a Republican from Tennessee, the same state where Manning played football in college.

The former Denver Bronco and Trump were seen leaving the White House together and a photograph taken at the club showed the group taking a break on the course for a meal in the clubhouse.

Manning and Corker were also seen exiting a vehicle in the motorcade upon its return to the White House from the golf course Sunday afternoon, according to reports.

Many believe that Manning is considering a move into politics now that he has retired from the NFL. However there’s no indication that this was a political trip to Washington and Manning was simply enjoying the perks of being the recipient of the Lincoln Medal.
