The University of Hawaii apparently offered a full ride football scholarship to Titan Lacaden, who is 11 years old.

Rainbow Warriors coach Nick Rolovich offered the scholarship to the tiny wide receiver after a recent football camp.

“Rolo pulled me on the side and asked me how I felt about a fifth grader, my son, being offered,” Titan’s father Frank told local ABC affiliate KTIV. (SLIDESHOW: 12 TIMES SPORTS PUNDIT KRISTINE LEAHY LOOKED ABSOLUTELY STUNNING)

His son went on Twitter and announced the news. He wrote, “Blessed with a D1 offer. Thank you Coach Rolo!! @NickRolovich #Future #defendpriderock #UHWarriors.”

Titan confirmed Hawaii is in his top three, but it’s his mom’s favorite in the same interview with KITV.

This is one of the strangest college football stories to ever hit the internet. Offer a scholarship to a boy before he completes puberty is pure insanity.

Titan stating that Hawaii is in his top three choices also infers that there are two other schools that have already contacted him. If I were a betting man, which I am, I would bet the house the NCAA will be calling soon and putting an end to this circus.
