Lindsay Lohan defended President Donald Trump and his family Tuesday in a series of tweets telling people to “stop bullying him.”

“THIS IS our president,” the 31-year-old actress tweeted in response to a screenshot of an article about how Trump offered to help the family of Charlie Gard, the terminally ill infant in the United Kingdom whose parents are seeking medical help in the U.S. after a European court ruled that the hospital could remove the child from life support. (RELATED: Trump Offers To Help Child Sentenced To Die In UK)

“Stop #bullying him & start trusting him. Thank you personally for supporting #THEUSA,” she added, before commenting on how “kind” the rest of the family is. (RELATED: The Love And Lament Of Lindsay Lohan [SLIDESHOW])

On Monday, Trump tweeted that he “would be delighted” to help Gard.

During the 2016 election, Lohan showed support for Hillary Clinton and after the election tweeted about wanting a recount. In an interview in Australia in January, the actress said “I wish him [Trump] the best.”
