As you might expect, Ronda Rousey isn’t having a traditional wedding.
Rousey joined “Live With Kelly and Ryan” on Wednesday where she revealed how she and her fiancé, Travis Browne, will tie the knot. (RELATED: UFC President Reveals Ronda Rousey’s Likely Future)
“He’s Hawaiian so we’re going to do like a backyard, Mexican Corona party but in Hawaii,” Rousey told Kelly Ripa and Jerry O’Connell, who was sitting in for Ryan Seacrest during the show. Both of the talk show hosts seemed to love the idea and begged Rousey for an invitation.
The two UFC fighters got engaged during a vacation in New Zealand, which Rousey announced in late April of this year. The once dominate UFC fighter said that Browne had an entire speech prepared to pop the question, but instead kept it simple and surprised her.
“We’re in New Zealand. Under a waterfall. Will you marry me?” Browne said.
“I lucked out, he’s awesome,” Rousey told Ripa and O’Connell showing off the ring.
