A new exciting trailer was recently released for the upcoming movie “The Dark Tower.”
The movie stars stars Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba as the lead characters, with Elba playing the hero gunslinger and McConaughey playing The Man in Black.
“The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where ‘the world has moved on’ in pursuit of the man in black,” the plot reads, according to IMDB. “Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.”
The new trailer promises epic levels of actions and violence as Elba and McConaughey square off against each other for control of the universe.

“The Dark Tower” is one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2017, and is currently scheduled to be released Aug. 4.
It’s worth noting that the recent success of HBO’s show “Westworld,” which is in the same vein as this film, could be an indication that the American viewing audience is in the mood for Westerns with a sci-fi slant.
This movie will almost certainly not have any trouble selling tickets.
