A new trailer was released Thursday morning for the upcoming movie “American Assassin.”
Plot of the film, according to the description in the YouTube trailer, is, “AMERICAN ASSASSIN follows the rise of Mitch Rapp (Dylan O’Brien), a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). The pair is then enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on both military and civilian targets. Together the three discover a pattern in the violence leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to stop a mysterious operative (Taylor Kitsch) intent on starting a World War in the Middle East.”
The trailer is full of non-stop action and plenty of shooting.

The film is currently scheduled to be released September 15.
It’s interesting to note that Taylor Kitsch has come a long ways since his days of playing Tim Riggins on the hit television show “Friday Night Lights.”
He went from being the rugged fullback on the Dillon Panthers to now playing a deadly CIA agent. Prior to that he was also in “Lone Survivor” and the second season of “True Detective.” His career is absolutely trending up.
