HBO released the first trailer for the upcoming second season of “Westworld” Saturday night at Comic-Con.

The plot of the hit show, according to IMDB, is, “Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, explore a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged without consequence.”

HBO added in the YouTube description, “From Executive Producers, J.J. Abrams, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Westworld returns in 2018.”

The first season had an all-star cast with Ed Harris, Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden and Evan Rachel Wood. It’s unclear if all of them will return for the second season.

One of the main themes in the first season was complete control and order throughout the world of Westworld. However, it appears to be a very safe bet the second season will focus on chaos and the threads of order coming untangled as fast as possible.

“Westworld” swept across the America and quickly gained a rabid cult following. In fact, it was pretty much the only topic of discussion in The Daily Caller’s office every Monday. We bounced different theories and ideas off of each other, and we were all big fans of the “Man in Black.”

I hate to brag, but I accurately predicted the biggest reveal involving the “Man in Black” in the first season finale after only the second episode. I called it down directly to the camera shot. We’ll have to wait and see if we’re as great as predicting the second season as we were for the first.

Either way, the second season looks like it’s going to be incredible.
