A new and final trailer was released Thursday morning for the upcoming film “Detroit,” which is about the 1967 riots in Detroit, Michigan.

The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “A police raid in Detroit in 1967 results in one of the largest and most intense riots in United States history, leading to the federalization of the Michigan National Guard and the involvement of two Airborne Divisons of the United States Army.”

The new trailer paints a picture of hopelessness and darkness consuming a city on the verge of complete collapse as people all-around are dying. (SLIDESHOW: Celebrate The Second Amendment With These Gorgeous Gun-Loving Women)
