Sports Illustrated Releases Five Hour Swimsuit Video – Are You F**KING KIDDING ME?

David Hookstead | Reporter

Sports Illustrated might have finally crossed the line into complete insanity with its latest video.

SI swimsuit dropped a five hour video titled, “Kate Upton’s Return, Nina Agdal, Chrissy Teigen & More,” Monday afternoon.

They captioned the video, “Kate Upton in Cairns, Australia, Nina Agdal and Chrissy Teigen take us to Desroches Island, Seychelles, Alyssa Miller, Genevieve Morton and more stunning models take you behind the scenes of the Sports Illustrated 2012 swimsuit issue.”

This has to be a joke, right? Who has the time to watch a five hour swimsuit video? Nobody has time for that.

There’s a method and formula to Sports Illustrated’s success, and it’s not exactly rocket science. Men want to quickly see the pictures and watch the short videos, which generally last less than two minutes.

It allows everybody to quickly get the big hits during their busy lives. It is a formula that has generated millions in earnings for the publication.

If I’m going to watch something that is five hours long it better be “Lord of the Rings,” or the first five episodes of “Band of Brothers.”

Otherwise, it’s an absolute waste of time. I just can’t figure out Sports Illustrated’s strategy lately. Sometimes they release awesome bikini videos, and then they turn around and release this garbage and their virtual reality junk. Just no consistency of any kind.

A disappointing day for Sports Illustrated fans everywhere.
