Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he will be in the upcoming “Terminator 6” movie nearly 35 years after he starred in the original 1984 sci-fi classic, Fox News reports.

“In March next year, I am shooting ‘Terminator 6,'” Schwarzenegger told The Playlist earlier this week. “James Cameron and (producer) David Ellison are back on board,” he also revealed.

Although the 70-year-old actor is rejoining the franchise, he will not be reprising his role as T-800 Model 101, but instead will play the human that inspired it, according to director James Cameron.

“Yeah, you got to ask yourself, ‘Why did they make these characters look and sound like Arnold?’ There has to be a reason,” Cameron told a Schwarzenegger fan website. “So yeah, it has flashed through my mind that there has to have been a prototype.”

“Now, the question is, did that person have some sort of meaning to Skynet on why they chose that one [Arnold]?”

“Terminator 6” will be a part of a new trilogy that James Cameron is hoping will be received better than “Terminator Genisys,” which was met with negative reviews. With Arnold on board, it will at least be a hit at the box office.
