A stuntwoman was killed on the set of “Deadpool 2” on Monday morning in Vancouver, according to local police.

The female driver, whose name has not yet been released, was doing a motorcycle scene when she lost control of the bike and crashed through the window of a building, according to TMZ. The stuntwoman was taken off set in an ambulance and later pronounced dead.

“Vancouver Police can confirm that a female stunt driver has died on the set of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle,” police said in a statement.

The fatal incident is the latest stunt-related accident in a string of them that have occurred during the filming of a movie or television show lately.

Just last month a stuntman fell on the set of “The Walking Dead” and later died due to blunt force trauma from his fall. More recently, Tom Cruise was injured during the filming of “Mission: Impossible 6.”

The Vancouver Police are working alongside Work Safe B.C. on the investigation into the “Deadpool” stuntwoman’s death.
