I Was Right – The Solar Eclipse Was Totally Overrated
The solar eclipse turned out to be the most overrated experience of my entire life.
Earlier today, I promised people this stunt would not be worth it, and everybody freaking out would look foolish in hindsight. It’s a bit weird how accurate that prediction turned out to be.
I went to the White House to enjoy the show with the masses. I had no idea what to expect. My expectations were very low, and yet somehow, when I put on my glasses I was still disappointed.
It didn’t look anything out of the ordinary, other than a part of the sun was covered. You know something about the eclipse in Washington D.C.? Turns out it’s still incredibly bright and hot.
How is it possible that I had next to no expectations, and was still disappointed? Shoutout to the media for hyping this thing up like it was the second coming of Jesus Christ.
You wanna know what it’s like to look at the sun during an eclipse? Step outside tomorrow, take a gander at the sun and you’ll have the same experience I did. I hate to brag about being right, but here I am eight hours after my original prediction looking like I hit the nail on the head.
Be better next time, sun.
