Unless you live under a rock you know today is the day of the solar eclipse, and it’s getting a little too much hype.
The world is behaving as if we’re all about to witness something that has never been seen or done before. So it’s going to be dark outside for a little bit, and you might get blinded if you stare at it long enough. Big deal.
I say if we really wanted to make this situation, we’d ban the sale of the glasses. You wanna run around all day looking at the solar eclipse and talking about it? Fine, but you can do it the old fashion way. It might cost you your eyesight, but it also serves as a much more interesting story.
I will obviously go outside and take a little gander at this eclipse. However, I’m much more interested in people watching as they act like they’re witnessing the arrival of the Death Star.
Should be a fun afternoon getting to hear a billion different opinions on the eclipse. I’m sure that won’t get old anytime soon.
