Weather Channel reporter Stephanie Abrams shed a few tears Monday during the solar eclipse.
“It’s emotional. I can’t explain why,” Abrams said, as she wiped away tears while watching the eclipse from Madras, Oregon.

Not the greatest look from Abrams. There are very few reasons to cry in a public setting. You can do it at a funeral, the Grand Canyon, or a great sports comeback or championship moment. That’s pretty much where the list begins and ends.
I went and saw the eclipse, and as I’ve already stated, it totally sucked. Didn’t interest me in the least bit. Wasn’t even nearly close to getting emotional. Does this make me heartless? I don’t think so. I just recognize some things are worth getting emotional about, and some aren’t.
The freaking eclipse isn’t in the top billion of things to cry about. Honestly, I wish I could just have the time I wasted yesterday running around DC and the White House area to catch a glimpse of the thing. It absolutely wasn’t worth it.
