Well kids, buckle up because Michael Vick is your latest studio analyst for Fox Sports.
Yep, the famed QB turned dog killer is now going to be bringing you the Sunday lowdown on Fox NFL Kickoff.
He expressed his excitement to join the team and even took out a little time out to brag:
Over the last seven or eight months, I’ve done a lot of interviews, and I think I’ve gotten better as I’ve been put in those situations more often. Things really came together (with Fox) over the last couple months. They have shows that I have always watched and admired. My friends and family are thankful and proud of me.
I can’t imagine why his friends and family wouldn’t be proud of him.
He has experience in more than just playing after all. He was a captain for the American Flag Football League and worked for two months as a coaching intern for the Kansas City Chiefs.

If that post doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will. I’m beginning to see exactly why Fox Sports made the decision to hire Vick to be a highly public and prestigious pundit.
Everybody messes up at some point in their life. Some people get traffic tickets. Michael Vick just happened to kill a few dogs. He served his 21 months in prison and did his time. Now he’s free and just wants to get back in the game.
The game of football, of course. Not dog fighting. Definitely not dog fighting.
If people can’t respect the biz and just accept Vick as a harmless, changed guy who just wants to talk a little football, then I don’t know what to say.
Plus, compared to all this Kaepernick stuff, Michael Vick is a cake walk. He’s even offered the former 49ers quarterback a few PR pointers, advising him the best way to fix his problem is to do something with his hair and “just go clean cut.”
If sports commentating doesn’t work out for him, I’d say Vick could have a real future as an agent.
So everybody settle down. Let Michael Vick live. If he can change, anybody can. Maybe someday even Kaepernick will have a seat next to him on Sundays. It’s just a few dudes being dudes. Nothing to see here whatsoever.
