Corinne Olympios became the center of attention after she and DeMario Jackson’s poolside encounter on “Bachelor In Paradise” shut the show down, but she hasn’t discussed it until now.

“This is my first time talking about what happened and my take on things and I would love for everyone to just have a better understanding of me,” Olympios told E! News.

“The first day, unfortunately, I don’t remember much of,” Corinne commented in regard to the incident. “I definitely overdrank, I did. I was also on some medicine that you’re not supposed to drink on, which I didn’t know. The combination of the two is just not a good combination, I am now weaning myself off that medication.”

The 25-year-old claimed that she has never had this experience from alcohol before, but did on that night. (SLIDESHOW: This ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Has All The Other Girls Jealous Already)

“It was obviously very scary for me and very different,” she explained, adding that there was “no way” for anyone to know she was “mentally checked out” because she’s known for her fun personality from her previous appearance on “The Bachelor.”

Corinne admitted that she doesn’t think the incident was anyone’s fault and simply “is what it is.”

“I really just want people to know that I don’t blame DeMario. I never pointed fingers at DeMario. I never said a bad word about DeMario,” Corinne continued.

Olympios hasn’t spoken with Jackson since the show got shut down, but if she were to get a chance, she would apologize for what has happened since their drunken poolside hookup.

“I would want to tell him, like listen, I respect you as a human. I have nothing against you. I am so sorry you had to go through this,” she told E! News. “I know exactly what it feels like…and I wish you all the best and I’m sorry.”
