Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin continued to be the most entertaining coach in college football during a recent interview.

Kiffin spoke with the Washington Post, and made it clear he thinks Alabama would have another championship if Nick Saban had let him coach against Clemson last year. Saban opted to push out Kiffin in favor of Steve Sarkisian for the national title game.

Kiffin stated the following when asked if he could have won the game for Alabama:

“I do,” Kiffin said. “It’s no disrespect to Steve. No matter who it was, you’ve been there all year long. You’ve been there for the quarterback. You’re all he knew. You were undefeated together. We’ve won [26] straight games together. You feel like, okay, it’s different. As great as Sark is, it’s just different. Again, if it had been 14 points either way . . . when it’s one play here or there, you think if those guys had the person they were used to, it would have made a difference.”

The former USC and Tennessee head coach continues to be the gift that keeps on giving for college football fans everywhere. This guy is something else. Alabama gets beat in the national championship game after Kiffin had been rocking with them all year, and he just rubs it in Saban’s face for removing him.

I hate Kiffin as a head coach. The guy is just awful as a team leader, but as a person there might be nobody more unintentionally funnier. I’m just a fan of Kiffin as a person and hate him so much as a coach, I literally bought tickets for when the Owls visit my Wisconsin Badgers. I had the chance to see them play a much better team, but there is zero chance I’m passing up the opportunity to be in the same stadium as Kiffin.

I can’t wait to hear what insane and laughable comment comes out of this guy’s mouth next.
