The Detroit Lions released a photo of quarterback Matthew Stafford signing his contract extension, and he looks like one cool customer.

Stafford recently inked a five year extension worth $135 million, but it doesn’t look like the money has changed him much. The Texas-born star looked as cool and calm as ever when he signed the papers.

No big deal, he’s only signing the largest contract in the history of the NFL, and he looks as casual as you can get. Nothing flashy. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just a regular dude set to make himself a bunch of money.

Thats the spirit I want in my quarterback. I don’t even want my guy to know he’s famous or to get flashy on Sundays. I just want a guy who goes out there and plays.

Stafford just made more money than most people do in five lifetimes, and he couldn’t seem to care less. That’s what being a football guy is all about.
