Johnny Manziel remaining unsigned at the start of the NFL season is proof the league is systematically racist.

As I’ve noted before, Manziel has Middle Eastern heritage, and apparently that’s too much for the league to take a chance on. People want to talk about the NFL being racist toward Colin Kaepernick, but why isn’t anybody speaking up for Manziel, who also shares minority roots? We can’t tolerate this oppression.

Has Manziel made mistakes along the way? Absolutely, but I thought this was America, the land of opportunity. So, I hate to do this, but I’m boycotting the NFL this season.*

I refuse to watch a league that won’t employ a playboy of Middle Eastern bloodlines. I won’t allow it to profit from my hard-earned money. I didn’t want to do this, and we all know how much I love football. This is a dark day for me. Am I a hero for boycotting one of my passions to stand in solidarity with Manziel and Middle Eastern people around the world? I don’t know. I’ll let the history books decide.

*Boycott does not apply to games in which teams from the AFC West, AFC South, AFC North, AFC East, NFC North, NFC West, NFC South or NFC East are playing in. All other games will be covered under the boycott.
