Roger Goodell is planning to attend the New England Patriots season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night and if everything goes as planned by Barstool Sports, he will be surrounded by 70,000 towels with the NFL commissioner’s face on them.

The towels are designed after the sports website’s popular T-shirt which features Goodell’s face wearing a red clown nose. Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy originally said he would hand out 30,000 towels, but now plans to hand out enough of them to fill the entire stadium.

Portnoy, a die-hard Patriots fan, is targeting Goodell over the commissioner’s treatment of the New England team and star player Tom Brady in the “Deflategate” scandal.

The Barstool Sports president is calling on his fellow Patriots fans to help distribute the towels ahead of the game to make the NFL commissioner feel as unwelcome as possible at Gillette Stadium. Even more uncomfortable than he was handing over the Lombardi Trophy to the Patriots after their Super Bowl LI victory.

“It’s Patriot Nation vs. Goodell,” Portnoy declared in a video. “The North Remembers. We always will.”
