Dennis Rodman And Kim Jong Un’s Relationship Is Straight Out Of ‘The Interview’

Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un’s relationship sounds like it was taken straight out of the script for “The Interview,” with James Franco and Randall Park.

The former NBA star joined “Good Morning Britain” on Wednesday where he revealed how he and Kim became friends and let the world in on what it’s like to hang out with the Supreme Leader of North Korea. Spoiler alert: it’s surprisingly similar to what happens in Seth Rogen’s 2014 comedy.

North Korea has become an increasing threat to the United States, and the world, over the past few months and it just so happens that Rodman is the only American who has direct contact with the North Korean dictator.

Rodman’s connection with Kim started through his love of basketball, but after getting to know each other better they do all sorts of things together, much like Franco’s character, Dave Skylark does with Kim, played by Park.

“For me to go over there and see (Kim) as much as I have, I basically hang out with him all the time. We laugh, we sing karaoke, we do a lot of cool things together. We ride horses, we hang out, we go skiing, we hardly ever talk politics and that’s the good thing,” Rodman explained.

If you already thought Rodman’s relationship with Kim was ridiculous, he just took it to a whole other level entirely. Hell, they might as well ride around in tanks blowing stuff up for fun while slamming back margaritas and listening to Katy Perry too.

Despite all of the outrageous things these unlikely friends do together, Rodman says he doesn’t “love” Kim but simply wants to “try to straighten things out for everyone to get along together.”

Who knows, maybe Rodman is Donald Trump’s secret weapon just like Skylark was for the CIA in “The Interview.” I mean, that’s no more ridiculous to imagine than the thought of Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un singing karaoke or riding horses together is it?

After all, in the same interview, Rodman admitted that “Donald can be a little crazy some times,” but also said “I love Donald Trump.” Which is something he wouldn’t say of his friend in North Korea.
